We got a major update from Wizards of the Coast! Standards Banned and Restricted announcement has been moved up and Vivi is in their crosshairs!!! Unfortunately that B&R won't happen until November 10th... Leaving standard in a very stagnant position until Vivi Orinitier catches the ban hammer. Connor and  @TypicalGeminiMTG  discuss what impacts this may have and why they would choose to shoot themselves in the foot like this.

I just got back from GenCon 2025! I go over what its like to play in a Regional Championship Qualifier event, partake in a Gavin Verhey Unkown event, and gush to  @TypicalGeminiMTG  about all the cool cards and cooler people I met!

We also talk about how suffocating it is to be a Magic fan right now. We hadn't even gotten to the Edge of Eternities release weekend and we are already being bombarded with Spiderman cards, the Soul Stone, and even Avatar the Last Airbender promos! Just let me enjoy my space set!
