D&D Virtual Table Top on Ice - Dual's & Mana Dork's Podcast ep. 89

Wizards of the Coast has been developing a 3D virtual table top game for Dungeons & Dragons for years and after the Beta release in February... 90% of the Project Sigil development team has been laid off and the product is seemingly dead in the water.

Magic Sales are DOWN in 2024! - Dual's & Mana Dorks ep. 88

We have Hasbro's financial report for Q4 2024 and the full fiscal year of 2024 and in a shock to nobody, Wizards of the Coast is the primary revenue driving entity at Hasbro, but interestingly, sales of Magic product are down compared to 2023!

Additionally, Spongebob has some bad Secret Lairs, Commandfest's have been dated, and Sam is going away! (for now)

Final Fantasy & Magic Con All Announcements!

It has been a busy week in Magic the Gathering News!  Magic Con Chicago weekend just wrapped up and thanks to the Preview Panel we saw some cards from Tarkir Dragonstorm (including a new Mox), art from Edge of Eternities, and the announcement of Avatar the Last Airbender being a full Universes Beyond Set for the end of the year!

And all of that after the commanders for the Final Fantasy precons were revealed, along with several very... controversial cards from the main set!

The Commander Bracket System is USELESS

Commander Players! We get our first in depth look at the Commander Bracket matchmaking system.  Gavin Verhey seems to think that this will improve the big problem of... what exactly?  More interestingly, this comes alongside the "Game Changer" list.  A list of 40 cards that the Commander Format Panel has identified as cards of particularly high power (that could possibly catch a ban???)

We also briefly discuss the announced Live Action Magic the Gathering Film and TV series!  Maybe it won't be cancelled this time.
